A skilled nurse practitioner with extensive experience in women’s health, surgical care and patient-centered medicine, Calhoun worked for more than seven years in obstetrical and gynecological care and over eight years in intensive care nursing. Her clinical background includes caring for patients through complex gynecologic and obstetric needs, assisting in the operating room as a Certified Registered Nurse First Assist, and guiding patients through routine and specialized procedures. She also served as former medical director for an aesthetics office.
